full body soak
for full body benefits
This is probably the first thing you picture when you think of bath salts. It's a traditional bath that gives you full body benefits. Fill a standard bathtub with warm water, add 2oz of Mendi Salt, 1/2 cup of Epsom Salt and soak for 15-20min. Feel free to drop in some essential oils too. This is one of the best ways to relax and enjoy yourself while absorbing CBD and benefiting from other salt ingredients, including magnesium sulfate. Take a deep breath, our four natural scents offer aromatherapy benefits as well.
foot soak
for pain, inflammation, irritated skin, odor
This is a fan favorite for outdoor enthusiasts and a great option for year-round use. Been on your feet all day and feeling some pain, inflammation or unwanted odor? Add warm water to a large basin or bucket, add 1-2oz of Mendi salt, and soak your feet and ankles for 15-30 min while meditating, reading, or enjoying a glass of wine. A perfect way to end any night on a relaxing note.
joint rub
for aches, itchy skin, bruises, bug bites
Have a nagging joint, itchy skin or insect bite? You can use Mendi salts to create a paste that is applied directly onto your skin for fast acting, targeted relief.
This recipe is super flexible based on whatever you have around your house so feel free to take and create this exact scrub, or make your own version.
Ingredients and Directions:
1 cup - Unscented Epsom Salt
1/4 cup - Mendi Bath Salts
1/2 cup - Grape Seed Oil
*Great Alternate Oils - Jojoba, Sesame & Avocado
1/4 cup - Agave Nectar or Honey to smooth & bind the mixture
*Spring for the Agave is you are looking for a 100% Vegan recipe
Mix together and apply generously onto sore muscles, joints, insect bites etc. You can also soak a washcloth in this solution and apply as a compress to your skin. If you have extra you can store it in a sealed jar at room temperature and it should keep for up to three months.
shower scrub
for exfoliation, soft skin, aromatherapy
Not a big on baths? No problem. You can use salts in the shower. To make a shower scrub add 3 parts salt and 1 part oil (almond, olive or coconut work best). Similar to the joint rub, you can even add in your favorite essential oil and store in an airtight container for a couple months. This rub works great in a steamy shower and will help to exfoliate your skin.
